A short video to show the changes in live streaming equipment.
We have discontinued using the OBS software program on the MAC Mini for live streaming.
We began using today the Roland SR-20HD live stream hardware encoder.
Video inputs and audio inputs plug directly into this unit, and the unit streams directly out through a CAT cable.
Then, video and audio outputs from the unit are routed to the video booth audio rack for foyer and mom's room, and finally, a video output is routed to the MAC Mini for using OBS software to record videos. The completed videos with embedded audio are autosaved in the iTunes "Movies" folder with a date code for the file names.
